Seven correspondents are leaving CNN as it continues to
fight a losing battle with Fox News Channel.
Two of the leftward-slanting network's most familiar
faces, Garrick Utley and Bruce Morton, jumped ship.
CNN gave the boot to Brooks Jackson, Allan Dodds Frank,
Mark Potter, Bruce Francis and James Hattori.
It plans to add four correspondents.
"There also was uncertainty about the future of
business anchor Willow Bay after CNN canceled her two
weekend programs, 'Pinnacle' and 'Business Unusual,'"
the Associated Press reported today.
CNN, which once enjoyed a monopoly on cable news,
averaged 536,000 viewers during the programming day in
2002, compared to 667,000 for FNC, which for some
strange reason is still carried by fewer cable
companies. Fox had an even greater advantage in prime time.

I've heard of Garrick Utley and Bruce Morton. They will not be missed. Can't say I've heard of the others.

Well, boo-hoo! The only place that isn't tanking is FNC. Sometimes, life is simply wonderful.

I want them to get rid of Christiane Amapour (sp?). She is evil incarnate.

What about Judy Woodruff? Sheesh...she is awful. Always has that pained look on her face, especially when W is successful. LOL!

I love seeing democrats lose money on their CNN mouthpiece propaganda outlet. Less money is available to pay for voter fraud. Fewer viewers to be influenced by the democrat party line.
Balanced news Fox (and it is merely BALANCED not Republican!) is carried only only a much smaller fraction of cable systems. Head to head Fox annihilates CNN, MSNBC, etc.

Every year, universities in this country graduate a fresh new crop of socialists. Their chairs won't be empty for long.

Some time ago I read an article suggesting CNN would be merging with one of the networks. Does anyone know anything about this possibility.
As my Grandmother used to say, "There isn't a kettle so crocked that there isn't a lid to fit it"

Yeah, remember Algore was just "teaching" some of them?

He just wouldn't allow any questions to be asked, would he?

Judy Woodruff was made for laxative commercials.

No, but isn't that what all liberals prefer? They tell you their spin but you don't get to ask the why's or wherefore's.
