President Bush's proposal to reduce taxes on corporate dividends is being attacked by Democrats as another giveaway to the rich. But not too many years ago it was Democrats who were in favor of this policy and Republicans who were against it.

The Whitehouse ought to develop a web page by which anyone can plug in their financial data and see graphically what the President's stimulus package will do for them personally in the long-term. It could also enable one to do "what-if" scenarios that would aid in future personal financial planning to take maximum advantage of the incentives.
