I agree with everything you say except about Cookeville being "Podunk".
Cookeville is a great place and this incident is the result of a few overzealous cops.

I'm sure Cookville is charming. I meant no slam against the town. But every small-town cop either wants to make chief in his own town, or go to work for a bigger PD. Eric "Pet Terminator" Hall's career is unlikely to go anywhere above his current position. I would not be suprised to find him guarding an RV storage lot in a few years.
