A smart EE can make a jammer with components from RadioShack. Buying them just shortens the procurement cycle.

Every jammer is an emitter. Every emitter is a target. Ask the guys who operate the SAMs. Every measure has a counter. Every counter has a counter-counter.

It's all part of the mission planning.

And it allows those of us in the Military Industrial Complex (formerly known as the Arsenal of Democracy) to keep paying our mortage and car payments, and putting food on the table. :) Besides that, it's fun!

However, these jammers may be highly portable, and they may only need to be turned on for a minute or two in order to permanently confuse a cruise missile(?)

Where's a good ol' ring gyro when ya need one!?!?
