His redemption for me came in his thoughtful portrayal of Bill W. -- a personal hero of mine.

I'd bet she's caused more funerals than she's attended. Her husband certainly has, many times over.

Nomination for line of the day...thanks.

He should ask her to name them, then verify.

Sorta like "all those economists" she has talked to who think tax cuts are a bad idea.

1. The funeral of FDNY chaplain Rev. Mychal Judge.

Father Mychal was a confused, but good-hearted man, but that's not why Clinton attended only his funeral. She attended it because he was a hero to the gay community and a thorn in the side of the Catholic Church. Way to go Hil, glad you could make it to one funeral, and if you had to go to one, that that one was a political statement.

James Woods gets it! (And way cool too!)

TRANSCRIPT IS HERE!!!! James Woods to Sam Rubin:

JAMES: I’m more of a Rumsfeld guy than a Powell guy, you know. I mean, I like the Rumsfeld approach to things, you know. If they're not right, shoot ‘em. I’m not about appeasing any of these crappy little Arab states that want to hold us hostage with oil, you know, and decide they’re going to use terrorism or state support it.

If I had any evidence that any of these countries were supporting one ounce of terrorism I would say ‘wipe them off the face of the earth.’ That’s how I feel and I’ll never change it, and it’s blatantly obvious to the most casual observer that that is the correct position to take, you know. But these other guys want to negotiate and placate and appease and do all that and there’s only one thing you get from eating a bowl of sh-t, and that’s a bigger bowl of it the second time around. Okay?

SAM: So where do you think it’s ultimately going to lead for us?

JAMES: I think it’s going to lead to the fact that probably eventually one of these terrorist diaperheads is going to come around and do something more horrible at which point we’re going to say ‘oh, we finally get it, now let’s finally have a response that means something, which means take out the guys behind it, whether it’s Sadam Hussein or Saudi Arabians or whoever else and take them out BIG TIME.

Get the message across. There’s only one thing these people understand; one thing, and one thing only: abject, unbelievable, horrifying, terrifying fear, and until we’re ready to strike that deep in their hearts and souls, we are going to be at war. Once we realize that they have to understand how powerful we are, not in our actual physical power, but in our heart and soul commitment to that power, only then will this terrorism stop. The only way to stop a terrorist: CUT HIS HEAD OFF.

Does anybody remember Hillary's behavior during President Bush's speech to both houses of Congress on September 20, 2001? It was just nine days after the terrorist attacks and Bush was giving his rousing speech that the United States will not back down to terrorists and the United States will hunt them.

Well, Hillary was just rolling her eyes during the speech and yawning. The cameras caught her doing it!!! She was yawning just nine days after the destruction of the World Trade Center and the loss of 3,000 of her constituents in her state of New York!!! She didn't care about 9/11.

Does anybody have pics of what I am talking about? It was one of the most revolting things I had ever seen and her bahavior on that day should prevent her from getting re-elected in 2006, let alone the Presidency in 2008.

That rather stretches the definition of "many" doesn't it? But then again, it all depends on what the definition of "many" is.

...that he's a hardcore, rabid conservative actor who has the guts to stand up and say that Hollywood liberals are idiots and he's really, really, really sharp.

The items in bold above are redundant

I sure remember, most people who saw it wouldn't forget what she was doing. I don't have the video but here's a little reminder of the way she was behaving. Not exactly what would seem to be an appropriate look for such a day.

I'm from NYC. I do know that she attended "a few" funerals. She usually stayed away from the people, and she always made sure she was around either Rudy or Pataki. Her handlers made it clear (in freaking news paper articles no less), that they didn't want her to "upstage" the services. They also were concerned that she would be booed at many of the services (this is why she was always kept near rudy or pataki). I do know for a fact that she was booed at more then one ceremony, and that there was a fear of retribution from the police officers and fire fighters at the services. He people would actually try to find the most friendly enviorment for her to be at. After the debacle where at the 9/11 memorial where she was booed without mercy, and then to top it off, her staff told the daily news and NY Post in regards to the fire fighters and cops "what do you expect from those people, they are all of bunch of right wing wacko's who listen to right wing propaganda on talk radio". If Rudy strayed away from her, her people would then surround her, to protect her from catcalls and rush her out as fast as possible into a car. I sadly know this because several of my friends attended numerious funerals and wakes and services around the city.

Thanks for your feedback. I believe doug from upland put a call to her office asking about her attendance at funerals, and he's waiting for an answer that might never come.

I'm pretty sure, that she atteneded something like a total of half a dozen, but no more then that. Her office will in no way whatsoever give totals on how many she went to, your best guess, is to contact the offices of Rudy and Pataki, and cross check with the services held for officers and fire fighters, and then cross check for how many she attended. (that would be a brutal amount of work though).

I think, on rebroadcasts of that Bush speech, they deleted the shots of Hillary scowling. I hope that cameraman didn't have job problems after showing her that night.
