Travis, it is the "Living Constitution" which they believe in, not being smart enough to know that if the Constitution's words don't mean the exact same thing 200 years ago, yesterday, today, and tomorrow, then no one has ANY rights. If the suspicion I put forth in #65 is correct then a 90% +1 vote wouldn't mean squat. Everybody can vote all they want. They can elect anyone they want vote for any law they want. The courts will just overrule their vote, the Executive will rewrite their laws. The courts will install their own pols. Anyone who argues will be denounced as remnants of the 'rightwinggunnut' resistors.
