PS: I know how your daughter felt; MY father used to stand on NYC subway platforms with us, singing I Got Rhythm off key and with a complete and utter lack of rhythm. Loudly. And he did it on purpose; in reality, Daddy has a pretty good voice. Sheesh!Gosh, we weren't intentionally trying to embarass her (and anyway, she was about a hundred yards behind us, hoping that no one she knew or possibly would know in the future would see her with us).
The irony is that she & her friend were big Andy Gibb fans.

From the news reports, Gibb had a congenital defect in his intestines, and that he had a strangulated hernia and that lead to his death. I'm not sure how that fits into your rather morbid chart.
I did have a literature professor that was obsessed with how writers died. I put your chart into the same category.

Oh, Daddy sure ebarassed us! But you know what? Even back then we were more amused by his antics than embarassed by them, and of course, here we are more than thirty years later, and I'm grinning just with the memory of it.
No harm done by Daddy, then or now. Just a sweet and funny memory of my childhood.

The Lord
Verse 1:
What do you get for trying? Minute you're born you're dying.
The body is six feet down. The Lord says the soul sticks around.
Chorus:
You can believe what you wanna but I know what I'm gonna do.
I'm gonna believe in the Lord.
You can believe what you wanna but I know what I'm gonna do.
I'm gonna believe in the Lord.
Verse 2:
You think you live on laughter. But you don't know what's after.
Singing Hallelujah. I can know the Master.
Chorus:
Verse 3
When my life is over. Lie in fields of clover.
Waiting for my own girl. Living in a new world . Yeah..
Chorus:
Verse 1:
Chorus:
end:
I'm gonna believe in the Lord.
Thats a song, written and sung by the Bee Gees.
Heres another one:
Too Much Heaven
CHORUS:
Nobody gets too much heaven no more
It's much harder to come by
I'm waiting in line
Nobody gets too much love anymore
It's as high as a mountain
And harder to climb
Oh you and me girl
Got a lot of love in store
And it flows through you
And it flows through me
And I love you so much more
Then my life..I can see beyond forever
Ev'rything we are will never die
Loving's such a beautiful thing
Oh you make my world.. a summer day
Are you just a dream to fade away
Chorus..
You and me girl got a highway to the sky
We can turn away from the night and day
And the tears you had to cry
You're my life..
I can see a new tomorrow
Ev'rything we are will never die
Loving's such a beautiful thing
When you are to me, the light above
Made for all to see our presious love
Chorus..
Love is such a beautiful thing
You make my world a summer day
Are you just a dream to fade away
Chorus..
Nobody gets too much love anymore
It's as wide as a river and harder to cross
Chorus..(repeat and fade)

I would submit that many of the "heart attack" deaths are actually drug/alcohol related.
Lowell George, for example, was said to have been on a major binge before he died, as was Jim Morrison.

I love heir music. The only CD I have personally burned, (I usually let my kids do it for me, they're better at it) was loaded with old BeeGees stuff. I listen to it when I walk.
Massachusetts
I Started a Joke
I've Gotta Get a Message to You
Heartbreaker
Run to Me
Too many to mention.....

"hated their music ...."
c'mon, man. there are three tracks on saturday night fever that will survive the test of time. (first, third, and last - first two by the bee gees.) they are as exciting and fresh as when they were first recorded, what?, 25 years ago?
and some of the stuff they did with kenny rogers was brilliant (not sure if maurice was involved with that, though, although i always thought he had the greatest musicality).
a different genre, to be sure, but these guys had some of what mozart did.

Interestingly, the murderer of Mia Zapata (on your list) was captured yesterday in Miami.

I don't see Dave Peverette of Foghat on your list.I guess that's why they called him "Lonesome Dave".

I'm not denying the Bee Gee's had talent or anything like that, but the weinie-faced bros sounded like chipmunks to me on the SNF soundtrack.Sorry, but I hated disco then and hate it now. It's too bad he had to go that way though.

Saved By The Bell
Bee Gees
I cried for you, I cried for you
I cried for two, I lied for you
Saved by the bell on your own carousel
Now who can tell, if you'll love that man as well
Now I'll walk down our great lane
I died for you, I died for two
I'll live for you, I'll give to you
Saved by the bell on your own carousel
Now who can tell, if you'll love that man as well
Now I'll walk down our great lane
Now I'll walk down our great lane
Now I'll walk down our great lane

My daughter also thought that me singing along to Muzak was just sooo embarassing, too. She did object when I'd try to dance with her in a supermarket aisle with a curt, "Mother knock it off! How old are you anyway?"
She still loves me unconditionally, but she's still wary of appearing with me in public places because I might break out into song and dance.

Glad they got him.
