I have a friend who left a school in the Atlanta area because she didn't appreciate it when a student called her a "white bitch" and the principal didn't punish the girl because as he put it "it's a cultural thing that you'll have to get used to".

She disagreed and is now at a school that places an emphasis on discipline.

Good post. My acid test is to reverse the situtation. If a white person called a black woman a 'black bitch', he would be suspended for inciting racial hate.

I was forced to attend a class entitled "Minorities, Women and the White Male" while working at Motorola. Guess what group was the target for everything that has gone on since the beginning of civilization? My point is that if it weren't for the white man, there still wouldn't be a civilization.

Similar story here. My second cousin told me she taught middle school for a year in a Richmond VA city school. At the end of the school year, she said she thought her middle name was mother-f**ker.
