Oops. That last sentence should read 'he will partially restore it with...'.

...the nuking of Baghdad. This really should have been automatic. This is a very complex issue my friend. Our thermonuclear weapons turning Mecca or Baghadad into glass fields (and that's pretty much what our powerful weapons could do) would kill not just an enemy there (and not effectively that many 'warriors' but more of the non-combatants), the 'collateral damage' would be the end of this world as we know it. And if you pause to consider the worldwide consequences, that is a fair assumption, worldwide war between Islam and everyone else, with slaughter on an immense scale in towns and cities everywhere Islamic fanatics could reach.

For the U.S. to use such weaponry would require an enormous death and destruction here first. And that is understood by these fanatic Islamicists, so they are into a methodology that slowly escalates. Yes, many civilians were slaughtered by suicide murderers on 9/11/01. The calculation was that we would absorb such a number and enter into a worldwide war on Islam. That was a faulty assumption by them, in retrospect, because we are waging a determined and calculated war against terrorist organizations and states that sponsor such. The fanatics didn't accomplish their initial objective, but they haven't abandoned their goal and will continue to escalate the terror here, as they are able; hence our 'homeland security' efforts. Therein lies the snag, for us! We have a political party that actually wants to obstruct the effort to wage a successful war against the terrorists so that their party power will not be sucked away! The Daschle, Clinton, and Leahy style obstruction and dissonance aimed at fomenting division and protest is far more dangerous than during the Vietnam era for we are literally in a war for our survival!

The effect of democrat party obstruction and division, and the rumblings they foment as a tool to cancel this administration's success create an environment in this nation that blocks the reality of a thermonuclear response. That is the reality of democrat anti-administration efforts which endangers US most. Our military is awesome, but it has limitations. We are at war and we have a huge anti-administration effort from the opposition party that sees only their empowerment as their goal, missing the horrific internal consequences of our national demise (or ignoring it as a necessary adjunct for their political survival). Our enemies are well aware of this reality and will escalate ever so slowly, to bleed our resources and our national resolve. THAT is the greatest danger at this stage in our war on terrorism worldwide.

How does launching nukes counter economic assault? It doesn't work my friend. The blunting then dissolution of American influence worldwide is the goal of our enemies. There are ways to devastate this nation in one or two actions. [Drop me a freepmail and I'll explain, but not on an open forum.] Such actions would have a thermonuclear response, so our enemies are avoiding that, instead slowly ratcheting the terror upward in stages, stages aided by the obstruction and divisive policies of the democrat's hate-filled party of factious constituencies. Perhaps that's what the Saudis and Jordanians realize and with our slow demise they see the eventual evaporation of their power in their own country. Fanatical Islamism is a real threat to the les fanatical ruel of the Hashemite and Saudi rules (despite what you may believe about Wahhabism). Perhaps that's why they are now working to stop these maniacs also. The realities are starting to sink in.
