Sorry to sound too pessimistic but the moral decline cannot be stopped. We've got 60s hippies indulging their great-grandchildren now. Some of these kids' formative years were through Bill Clinton's two terms. Immorality has the "Big Mo." It's too late.

When you turn on the BOOB TUBE and all you see is wall to wall sex and violence. When you listen to there generations music and all you hear is sex and violence. What would you expect their behavior to be. Especially when they are seeing the same behavior at home.
Pavlov's dog experiments come to mind.
Filth in, filth out. A play on the old garbage in, garbage out theory.

Ok, "grandchildren."

America has "enlightened" itself to the very gates of Hell. That bright glow you see is the lake of fire.

People have to be brave enough to get rid of tv. I hear so many people bellyache about the condition our society is in, but they don't have the guts to throw tv out of their homes. The want their football, or there is just one show they love, and so on. It's quite like an addiction. Can you imagine loving a restaurant because it make a great Beef Burgandy, and you just have to eat there once a week, year in year out. But over time the place has changed; the people are foul mouthed; everybody smokes; the people also don't bathe; they belch and pass gas with abandon. But you love that Beef Burgandy so each week you dutifully walk through the door of the joint, pick your way past the vermin, and meekly sit down to order your meal which a rude, in your face jerk throws down on the table with a leering sneer on his face. And you keep on accepting it. You get what you deserve.
I stopped accepting that kind of treatment. No more cable, no more tv (well for some reason does Lifetime comes in!). We rent videos we get from the library. We get our news from the internet. My kids are straight A students. My son just got his Eagle Scout award, and an NROTC scholarship to a top school. My daugher is an accomplished ballerina. They are informed and funny kids, and they are not spoiled. They are glad to spend a Saturday night with us watching a rental movie and sharing popcorn. Believe me, I know it sounds corny, but that's the way we live. And I am not telling you of my children's accomplishments to brag (ok, maybe a little) but really to let parents of younger children know, you CAN control your home, and how you choose to do so WILL have an effect on your children. You would likely never let a foul mouthed drunken motorcyle type barge into your home and wreak havoc by having a poor influence on your children, so why passively accept what the Television Executive Programmers want to shove down your throat?
The day will come when we can program our own tv's; until then, turn the tv off. V's wife.

Remember the so-called "journalists" who endlessly parrotted the Democrat Party lines--
"Private morality has nothing to do with public morality."
"Character doesn't count."
"Everybody does it."
"Purjury doesn't rise to the level of an impeachable offense."
"Bimbo erruption!"
Blah! Blah! Blah!
Is there any wonder why so-called "journalists", why Democrat politicians, and why The Mainstream Media (also known as The Democrat Propaganda Machine) are held in such utter dusgust and comtempt?

Semms like a lot of this started 5 years ago when the nation was treated to President Clinton's "oral sex isn't sex education."

The parents formative years were during Jack Kennedy's rompings. No problem, he made it all the way to the White House and opened the door for Clinton.

this started 5 years ago when the nation was treated to President Clinton's "oral sex isn't sex education."
It started in the late 60's early 70's when the government and the so called establishment started bringing so called mental health officials out from under rocks to tell the world that spanking and discipline were wrong and that we were supressing the freedom of being oneself
I for one am darn glad my parents took the occasional hand to my backside it made me a better person it made my children better people .

Bullying is nothing new, but when a 12-year-old engages in it by making sexual demands on a 4-year-old, which allegedly happened on a Boston government school bus this week, it ought to be a wakeup call for the rest of us. Adolescent sensuality is nothing new either, but when a 15-year-old girl, acting on a dare, publicly participates in sexual activity with a 16-year-old boy, which allegedly happened on a South Shore government school bus a week earlier, it, too, ought to be a wakeup call for the rest of us.

True, America is in the gravest danger. Especially if we become players of neglect. Let's continue to secure our homes keeping the TV makers out, let's live with wisdom and integrity, and let's grow stronger in conservative activism. The generations desperately need the light.

Throw your TV out in Trash
There is nothing but trash on TV. People sit home and take in such vile disgusting shows it would make our grandparents sick. I think of all the kids left in front of the tv all the time. Just watching hours of mindless garbage that is put into their heads. It is the worst form of brainwashing ever made.
Throw your TV out in trash you will be glad you did.
While your at it stop going to the idiot movies put out by HollyWeird. Plain Junk!

We watch very little TV as we find 95% of it offensive. What little we do watch is the History and Discovery channels and the Weather channel.
We rent VERY few movies.
There are now available from Christian book stores Veggie Tales for the little ones entertainment.
