Tre Hargett, my rep, pointed out that Republican members of the Tennessee House received considerably more votes than Democrats did, so it appears that times are changin', and the 'rats might lose their stranglehold eventually. Unfortunately, these 11 are not the kind of people we need there to pick up the pieces.

And you are absolutely right. Initiative, referendum, and recall are fundamental tools to correct MISrepresentative government like we have here.

bubba pleasant is my new rep..use to be Curry Todd. Needless to say after bubba voted for the $1B tax hike I didn't vote for him. To bad he was unopposed.
