I wasnt sure. The sequence of events seemed plausible; an outspoken critic of Sadamm comes home in '98 with fiery rhetoric against the UN and the US Govt for not dealing with Sadamm, then all of a sudden becomes a shill for Iraq, gets busted and gets out of it ala Clinton. So it happened on Bushes watch. It takes some muscle to seal a court case....

Well, we are talking about less than a year. And, the courts in some places still definately belong to the left. Local misdemeanor charges are all we're talking about.
