Outstanding essay today. From the visual presentation to the absolute words of beauty and truth....I am speechless.

I sat a little taller in my chair and puffed myself up a little bigger as I swelled with pride for my country and my patriots......

Of course, not all soil is good soil, and the Seed of Freedom will sometimes not take hold and flower unless the ground is turned over, and over, and over. It is said the Tree of Liberty is watered with the blood of patriots.

This quote is going up on the wall of my office with credit being given to its author; "jwfiv of Free republic." This has been a great morning for me!

In the New World, it is the common man and woman who rule by Divine Right, not the king, emperor, priest, pharaoh or caliph, as in the Old World.

What a great way to express this idea and remind us of how unique America really is. And it's true - liberty is a fragile thing and the old ways are just around the corner if we ever forget the responsibilities that come with our freedoms. I loved this essay! Thanks to JW for sharing it with us.

The democrats are the true threat to the rest of the world. If they succeed at destroying the foundation of our freedom they will ultimately destroy the world. Thankfully our Lord has a back up plan.

Hi Billie and all. What has poor Louie done? Why is Louie being ostracized? Good morning Louie. Perhaps it is your deodorant.

LOL! When I did that graphic the first time, it included only daisy, dansy, JohnHuang, Louie, Mama_Bear and me! (Our regular hostesses/host - and Louie - just 'cause he and John have such fun ribbing each other, and also because Louie has made so many of our hostess graphics for us.) Then after dutchess and FreeTheHostages came 'on board', I redid it to include them, without changing anything else.

Today, with jwfiv's essay, I thought it would be cute to add him....and MIXER, who originated and maintains our calendar, which we link everyday! He 'should' be there with the 'regulars'!

Pippin, I saw your post in My Comments about 'where were you?', and this answers your question, too!
