"Ed Cox Slams Hillary for 9/11 Failure"
NewsMax ^ | 6/25/05 | Limbacher

Posted on 06/25/2005 10:06:04 AM PDT by Tumbleweed_Connection

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "New York Senate hopeful Ed Cox blasted Sen. Hillary Clinton on Saturday, saying that she's failed to win New York's fair share of federal homeland security dollars in the wake of the 9/11 attacks and hasn't kept her promise to improve the state's economy.

"New York is the number one target for terrorists," Cox told WABC Radio host Monica Crowley. "It is terrible that Wyoming should get $18 per capita of homeland security funds while New York gets only $2.50 (per capita)."

Cox said New York was shortchanging itself by sending two Democratic Senators to Washington, arguing that Wyoming is more successful because "they happen to have two Republican Senators."

As a Republican, Cox said, he'll be able to go to a White House and Congress controlled by the GOP and succeed where Hillary has failed. "I'll be able to deliver for New York and she cannot do that.""

"What Hillary Knows About National Security ...
Charles R. Smith
Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006

... But Is Afraid to Ask"

COLUMN SNIPPET: "Now we know that Hillary Clinton is the great protector of our national security and civil rights. The slash-and-burn former first lady from Arkansas, now appearing in the U.S. Senate as a real live politician, has declared herself to be the watchdog of righteousness.

Mrs. Clinton, the leading 2008 presidential candidate, told reporters she did not yet know whether the Bush administration's warrantless eavesdropping broke any laws. She did, however, say that she did not buy the White House's main justification for the tactic.

"Obviously, I support tracking down terrorists. I think that's our obligation. But I think it can be done in a lawful way," stated the junior senator from New York.

"Their argument that it's rooted in the authority to go after al-Qaida is far-fetched. Their argument that it's rooted in the Constitution inherently is kind of strange," stated Mrs. Clinton."

"Hillary Clinton Attacks Bush,
U.S. Intelligence Services in
Overseas Interview
Urges a 'Globalized and Integrated World'"

June 17, 2003
By Toby Westerman
Copyright 2003 International News Analysis Today
www.inatoday.com

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton (D NY) has attacked U.S. President George W. Bush, and questioned U.S. intelligence effectiveness in an interview published in the online version of the German newsmagazine Der Spiegel.

Der Spiegel is Germany's leading newsmagazine, and is highly regarded throughout Europe. Clinton's remarks will gain a high degree of publicity across the European continent, attracting support within Europe's generally liberal political environment, where socialism enjoys wide acceptance.

While asserting her support for Bush in Afghanistan and Iraq, Sen. Clinton criticized present U.S. policy in Europe, and questioned the Bush administration's use of intelligence information."

Appreciate the addition to this old post- Charles knows his stuff.

During The Golden Years of Clinton ( sarcastic hattip to Wash Times Editor Wes Pruden... ) he was a regular guest on Mike Reagan's show, and his information about breeches in national security were astonishing. I really, really am not kidding with the tagline...

His website is worth a look:

Her Democrat colleagues recently put Clinton on the Senate Armed Services Committee. It is in this new position that the ex-first lady poses a clear and present danger to U.S. national security.

That's like putting and atheist on a religous committee. She is anti-military. She doesn't belong anywhere near the military.

One of the chilling little things I learned ( from Charles radio talks, not the site ) was that during our Bosnia fiasco, a few cruise missiles were captured and shipped to the Red Chinese, who the built clones of them. Nice, eh?

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "On the political front, Soros has poured massive funding into such groups as the ACLU, which uses lawsuits to hamstring the War on Terror. Soros also funds Amnesty International, whose US executive director has called for the arrest of President Bush as a war criminal. Another Soros-funded group, The Center for Constitutional Rights, has drawn up detailed articles of impeachment against the President."

"Intelligence estimate warns on quick Iraq pullout"
By Bill Gertz
THE WASHINGTON TIMES
February 3, 2007

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "A new National Intelligence Estimate on Iraq warns that pulling U.S. troops out of the country too soon would lead to a collapse of the Iraqi military, outside intervention and the creation of safe havens for al Qaeda terrorists.

An unclassified summary of the 90-page estimate, "Prospects for Iraq's Stability: A Challenging Road Ahead," stated that U.S. and allied troops "remain an essential stabilizing element in Iraq.""
