Thank you for your kind letter of last (date) and we wish you and Queen Rania all the best in these difficult times.

As to your specific request for the latest air defense system, we appreciate your favorable opinion of American technology, but we must regretfully decline the request at this time.

Our military plans may include brief over flights of Jordanian airspace and we do not wish to encounter air defenses which may be difficult to defeat. Not that we in any way imply that a staunch ally such as Jordan would ever intentionally fire, but sometimes low level troops cannot resist pushing shiny red buttons out of curiosity.

We will keep your letter on file and may revisit the issue at some later date.

As to your specific request for the latest air defense system, we appreciate your favorable opinion of American technology, and would be delighted to supply you with your defense needs. In return for our technology and assistance, we simply request that Jorday relocate to Aman or a neighboring city all of the Palestinians currently residing in the historical land of Israel.

If this arrangement is suitable to you, please respond as soon as possible. Time is of the essence and we cannot offer this deal indefinitely.

Dear President Bush, the Second,

The reopened Palistinian Kingdom of TransJordan acknowledges your kind remarks and as a gesture of correcting the sins of our last 50+ years will take back our brothers and citizens from that country to our west as a show of friendliness and support in your quest to re- make that murderous country to our east. Talk about being caught between a rock and a kard place!! Please give us real fast the necessary air defense to protect our newly homogenous country so that in two weeks we can defend ourselves from the mad man to our east. We even like that guy Sharon, now. There, does that do it, Can we have the weapons of defense now? Please, pretty please?
