Some people here argue pretty fervently that Iran should be first. I disagree. Sometimes you need to do what you can do first, and then do the rest. The mullahs will be under intense pressure when, after Iraq falls, there are 300k foreign troops right next door, with air bases, supply lines, ports, etc.

The most impressive thing about the Bush Presidency in general, and the Rumsfeld Pentagon in particular, it that they treat every situation on its own merit. One size does not fit all, and they are acting on that reality.
All indications are that the Iranian people, as a whole, love America and Americans. The approach to liberating them from radical Islam will be different from the approach to liberating Iraq.
It is so refreshing to have adults back in charge of the Government!
