this was posted some months ago, I already have it on my screensaver.

Thanks for posting it again, it's a beautiful reminder of Who is in charge!

Do you see how the light coming through the flag forms a cross in the stars? that's what makes this photo special.
:-D

Cool. ;-D

Awesome! Makes ya' want to say some special prayers for all our military and their families.

Indeed it does. According to Snopes.com, the picture is the genuine article, too - no Photoshop. Evidently, the weave of the cloth acts like a camera's "star filter". To me, that explanation does diminish the image in any way.

I wish I'd have had my camera earlier this morning. Today is cold and the sky is beautiful and cloudless, so the pilots from the nearby Air National Guard base were getting in some flight time. As I drove to work, I saw a jet contrail that was perfectly vertical, which appeared to intersect with another, horizontal trail of jet engine exhaust. It looked like a white crucifix three miles high, set against that blue background. It was not curved or ragged from wind shear - just two perfectly straight lines.

God can use logical and mundane things around us to remind us of him.

Amen to that!

Years ago when I first started homeschooling I was having a frustrating day so I decided to take the kiddos outside and find 12 stones (like in the OT river crossing story)and build ourselves a little monument. We went up to our barn hill and found all kinds of rocks, picking only the pretty ones for our pile, we carried them across the yard but by the time it came to getting the 12th rock we were tired and so I decided rather than take any more time looking for another pretty rock (how many can there be anyway!) I picked up the old ugly rock I kept passing up earlier for the prettier ones. When I got the rock to our pile and turned it over we were all surprized to see a cross cut right into it. (I put that rock on top!) Yes, it was probably cut into the rock by a tiller or some other farm implement, but what fascinating timing for someone to find that rock!

America is indeed a Christian Nation, and will always be under God. What a beautiful picture of the sun high lighting the cross in the background!

"Hint, look at the Light"

Sorry...I have a habit of being analytical for problem solving with mechanics. So to speak, I couldn't see the flowers due to studying the makeup of the forest.

Lag time due to busy day at work.

Okay, I got it now. I was studying the size and characteristics of the flag itself. I just now back to where I was this morning, busy day at work.

Can you tell me where you got this picture from and when it was taken. Thank you.

It was posted on the web site "Spirit Daily", linked at the top. I'm unsure of its origin or who took the photo.

Suggest you go to the "Spirit Daily" web site and ask Michael Brown, the guy who runs the site.

Yes. My husband is the DJ who works for KTTI and who organized the event. We live in Yuma, AZ. My neighbors, who own Sellers Crane Service, were holding the flag, who was sewn by Sewmasters. We are Christians, and I believe God used this natural effect of the light to let his glory show through. It was a wonderful event.
