Rumors leave lives in limbo Experts say Peterson case shows risks of premature judgment.
In the search for a missing Modesto woman, about the only thing police will say publicly is that her disappearance on Christmas Eve is suspicious and they suspect foul play. And her husband isn't a suspect. Yet Scott Peterson, a 30-year-old fertilizer salesman, finds himself immersed in a swirl of suspicion that began soon after the day he said he last saw his pregnant wife, 27-year-old Laci Peterson.

Cry us a river!
News reports indicated that Peterson and Condit were were being unfaithful to their wives.
The public perceives them as major sleazes, so it's easy to then suspect that they are somehow involved in the crimes too.

Like I said its just a story! And time will tell. Another thought of course is he doesn't THINK he is a suspect and he will screw up.

To ALL:
PROMINENT SUSPECTS?
Why not give THEM a break? The truth is we don't KNOW anything. We only THINK we do. Fortunately, that's not good enough for the Law.
Far better that a thousand guilty men go free than that one innocent person be sent to jail -- or worse -- EXECUTED.
I'd love to see a Public Trust Fund set up to compensate the Victims of Wrongful Prosecution. And don't think there isn't PLENTY of that.
Many a corrupt, venal DA has built a successful political career by making a patsy of some vulnerable target.
VENGEANCE belongs to God. WE ought to be more in the business of binding up wounds and healing the broken lives of those often fatally damaged by the fallout from a crime. The innocent husbands, wives and CHILDREN of perpetrators ought not to be left to suffer cruelly for the crime of someone on whom they were dependent.
Our priorities are all wrong.

During the first week of her disappearance our local talk radio station had several people call in that claimed to have known Laci in the past. They characterized her as something of a wild child at one time. They claimed that the reason her family liked Scott so much is because he had a calming influence on her and helped her straighten up.
I personally dont know what behavior her wild streak consisted of, but I certainly havent heard a peep about it since the first week of her disappearance.
I wonder if she had any druggie ex-boyfriends that were released from prison recently, or something along those lines.

Adultery is NOT murder. And, unsavory as most of us find it, adultery really IS no one's business but the FAMILY or FAMILIES involved.
YOUR adultery doesn't affect ME in the least -- unless you are fooling around with MY wife.
God will punish the wicked in His own good time -- and in His own way. Vengeance belongs to Him -- not to us.

Scott Peterson is no Richard Jewell. I have the utmost respect for Jewell who was set upon by the national media in an effort to protect slick willie from having to deal with the fact that it might well have been a terror attack at the Atlanta olympics.

Obviously she was one of those Lesbian Vampires of Sodom. They made a movie about them once, remember?
Personally, I think she was kidnapped by agents of Saddam Hussein. She was "drafted" to become the newest member of his harem.
Next thing you know, he'll be using her and the newborn baby as "human shields" to stop GWB's attack.

You've got these talking heads who are constantly analyzing and speculating and so on," he said.
Today, Wood says, if a handsome, wealthy, married politician, driving home from a party, got in a car accident that killed an attractive female passenger, the politician's career would end then and there.
In 1969, however, Sen. Ted Kennedy's career was only stalled by the accident near Martha's Vineyard that killed campaign worker Mary Jo Kopechne, Wood noted.
FROM THE STORY ABOVE!
UNLESS YOUR A KENNEDY OF COURSE!

But how do you KNOW? Has he confessed something to you privately that you ought to share with the authorities?
