Hizbollah warns U.S. of defeat over Iraq

DAMASCUS, Jan 25 (Reuters) - Lebanese Islamic militant group Hizbollah warned the United States on Saturday that it would face a definite defeat if it plunged into a confrontation with Arabs by attacking Iraq.

Hizbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, addressing a conference in the Syrian capital on boycotting Israel and its allies, urged Arabs to stop all forms of dealing and communication with the United States and its people and comply with the traditional Arab boycott against Israel.

Nasrallah said Arabs should realise Israel is "merely a brigade in the U.S. army" suggesting that the United States was their primary enemy.

"If they (Americans) insisted on this war and confrontation ... they'll find themselves in a different type of battlefield where they don't have the ability to strike at the power balance," Nasrallah said.

"If this war broke out it would not be over in a year or two," he said arguing that no military power can win a war against Arabs because they would fight Americans in a fashion similar to the Palestinian uprising and the Lebanese resistance against Israeli occupation troops.

Both the 28-month-old uprising and the Lebanese resistance relied chiefly on suicide bombings and guerrilla attacks in their fight against Israel.

He said those who "entered the confrontation of this sort will be defeated even if he owned the sky and filled it with warplanes."

The leader of the faction which gained fame for ejecting Israeli troops from South Lebanon through armed resistance said: "The United States may be able to trouble governments, defeat armies and dismantle political parties" but it cannot win a war fought by individuals who have no pre-set plans or organised funding.

"Through an objective analysis I can say the American project and the U.S. military presence in the region have no future," he said.

A few "super daisy cutters" in the Bekka Valley along with a dozen or so AC-130 passes, and these guys would be history. History with dirty underwear in fact.

Nadler likes pages, I thought they were reserved for Barney Franks. Does Jerrold "the former Hut" get seconds?

Same thing Tojo said.

In response to this article, several leading Democrats called on President Bush to admit his mistakes in Iraq.

In a joint news conferance, Former VP Al Gore and Former Presidential Candidate Howard Dean said, "See Mr. President, you made a mistake. Now admit it. I said, admit it,
Admit it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!.

Several Middle East television stations carried the new conference, playing it over and over and over again my friend. Adding,(can't) you see, the U.S. is on the road to destruction.

Have you learned nothing about us in all your travels?
We are slow to anger, we wish to live in peace, WE WILL
NOT SUFFER MURDERERS TO LIVE AMONG US!

WE WILL EXTERMINATE THEM AS WE FIND THEM, AND WE WILL
DO THIS COLDLY, METHODICALY, IN OUR OWN SELF DEFENSE.

TURN OVER THE MURDERERS AND LIVE, HARBOR THEM AND DIE
WITH THEM. IT'S THAT SIMPLE.

Have a nice day!
