Good grief! I had just finished typing two paragraphs of what Andy Card said to Russert and the thread got pulled.

FOX news - Powell says clear ties between 9-11 terrorist and Sadham.
They obviously will layout the case this week. Sadham will be toast by the end of February.

Andy asked about hillary's comment that security is a myth and that firefighters don't have the money they need. Card says then the congress should pass the budget that gives them the money. Dem-controlled senate did not pass the 03 budget and the money will be distributed. Russert is showing poll after poll - negative to President Bush, of course. Russert is claiming Bush is losing his support...same old, same old.

I am watching the Fox News Sunday with Andy Card. Not much to report of breaking news. All this talk of filibuster that Tony Snow is bringing I don't think is going to happen. You didn't see one over the recent budget that was passed. Frist is a much better majority leader than whimpy Lott was and a better negotiatior. It has been proven just in the short time. A large number of democrats voted for that last passage of the budget bill, some that surprised me like Byrd. Enough votes to clear any filibustering. I think that will continue. Snow just seems determined to attack this administration. Someone suggested that maybe he is ticked off because he didn't have as clear an access to this White House as he thought he would. I know he worked close in the former Bush White House.
