That would have been me. I first posted it shortly after 9/11. Use the advanced search. You usually have to enter a state to reduce the hits to something managable.

Another interesting site where you can learn much about Islam is here at the Ask the Imam site. And no, the site is not a joke or parody.

After you posted the Guidestar.org link in 2001, I did a search and found an organization that does not show up on any of the other lists. Without getting into details, further searching of that organization produced some interesting information. My take is that there are several terrorist support networks - safe houses, communications, financial support, etc.. can be arranged by individuals who are established members of the community. FWIF, Guidestar now shows one more Islamic non-profit organization in Missouri now than it did in 2001.
