Congrats on being one of FR's finest - of course those of us having the pleasure of knowing you already knew that:)

Also, thanks for everything you've done and continue to do.

An additional argument for the national sales tax that you pointed out to me is privacy. What business is it of the government (or it's hacks) how much money we make? With a national sales tax the snooping into our personal lives would end. IMHO that is the most compelling argument of all.

Exactly. It is nobody's business, particularly and especially, any government, how much a person earns.

Taht argument is a sub-part of the FReedom issue, but a most important sub-part.
