That's what happens when the media make the news, and not report it.

Helen looks like every American and Middle East al Qaeda caught and photographed.
She has terminal bad hair, is really butt ugly, and totally incapable of smiling.

Reputable historians have said that Warren Harding, well-meaning but totatlly out of his depth as president, was the worst president in history. When all of his misdeeds come to light and his apologists fade into obscurity, Clinton will gain that distinction.
By ignoring Harding and asserting that George W. Bush, only two years into his term, is the worst president, Helen Thomas merely shows her own bias.

Not surprisingly for an admitted liberal, she held her greatest praise for John Kennedy, the only president in her estimation who made Americans look to their higher angels. Keep in mind that Hellen was a young chicken when JFK was cock of the walk. Kennedy would pop anything with a skirt, and it would not at all be surprising if he managed to give the old bat an "offer the record" private interview.

Helen is simply a bitter, fading harridan longing for a past era of feel good liberalism without consequence for her Washington pals.
That the real world has so rudely intruded on her warm, safe world and has required that stern, adult measures be taken to prevent ugly recurrences is very jarring for her.
She deserves our most condescending pity and concern. The poor dear is going to burst a vessel with all that ill-defined rage and wild outbursts. Either that or she's going to fall down and break a hip. I see an increase in her meds in the near future.

There are times when you can work at something for 60 years and never be good at it. As for Journalist's, Helen Thomas is proof of this.

Yup. I only wish that at the next White House briefing Ari Fleisher will answer one of Helen's nasty, biased questions like this: "Well, Helen, since you feel that President Bush is the worst President ever, I'm not at all suprised that you asked such a question..." Of course, unlike Helen, Ari has way too much class to do so. As for getting rid of her, she's far too amusing to ban from the press conferences. I'm sure that Ari, President Bush and all find her sour puss and demeanor hysterically funny. Hey, these guys need a humor break--especially in these harrowing times...

Think about it. Given that she has always sounded like she has crossed over the double yellow line, is it arrested development or (as it started so long ago) premature senility? She clearly suffers from the delusion that someone gives a damn about what she says. She does definitly qualify as coyote ugly, though.

You know, I thought good reporters were suppose to be unbiased and have no opinion, atleast publicly. I suppose this means Miss Thomas is possibly the worst reporter in history. Translation: Anything this woman says means absolutely nothing.
