I agree, except for the quantity, unless you're talking worldwide.

I sought to avoid the numbers argument as the other poster and I gnaw on the real meat of our disagreement.

Thanks for the reply. Is there anyway of finding out how many positive responses they received from this action? I'd like to think that they received alot of compliments.

one bone to pick: no it is not. he is being paid fair market value. comcast's business is making money from cable TV, not imposing its politics on wires it has laid in many places with a govt subsidy.

Such government subsidies, when they occur, are usually balanced against a set of restrictions. None of those restrictions involve usurping the constitutional first amendment rights of the company or its shareholders or officers. This is particularly true when the subsidy or favorable condition is the result of local or state action.

Frankly, I could do without the subsidies but that's perhaps another story.
