WASHINGTON, Jan 29, 2003 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- Sen. Ted Kennedy is introducing a resolution in the Senate calling on President Bush to obtain new congressional approval before acting against Iraq. A spokesman for the Massachusetts Democrat said Wednesday Kennedy believes the situation has changed since October's resolution and North Korea is a more pressing issue.

A lot of the RATS and their mouth pieces in the media are proclaiming that the American people are not supportive of attacking Iraq and other such stuff. They keep saying "The polls! The polls!"

Well Brit Hume and his gang decided to take a look at what the polls said in 91 about attacking Iraq. The polls today are more supportive of attacking Iraq than they were in 1991!

We know that has nothing to do with it. Sir, how you're able to look at yourself in the mirror every morning is beyond me.

>> This is an act of desparation on the part of the demonRATS<<

Yes, it is, and I think Bush is going to do more than ask for a resolution-I think he's going to ask for a Declaration of War.

Oh Lord! Here we go The Swimmer is up there drunkenly stumbling through whatever he's trying to get out of his pie hole. I bet it has something to do with his threat to get "permission" from the Senate before Bush sends us to war.

Looks like Teddy was sleeping through the most important part of last night's speech. What say you?

Yup. Hard to believe he remained snoozing through all that loud clapping occurring on the opposite side of the aisle.

I don't think GW is gonna ASK for anything. I think when he comes back to the well in Congress it will be to TELL them and the rest of us that the war has already started.

Being in spitting distance of 50 means remembering so many things (though sometimes I wish I could forget)

And as sad and tragic as this incident was for Mary Jo and her family, we ought to erect a statue to her on the Mall for keeping this drunken dork out of the White House. At LEAST a Medal of Freedom from Bush.

And Ted IS looking at OTHER career options:

We hear that other members of this "group" will soon be releasing CDs of some of THEIR favs. In the meantime, enjoy these ditties from their lead sinner SINGER (yeah, "singer," that's the ticket)!

A Declaration of War vote would just tickle me! The damn RATS would all have to go on record, a record that has been dismal for a long time. Call their bluff! If President Bush does that, he will have earned my total support and my undying respect, although I still want to see the 1994 federal AW ban sunsetted right on schedule.
