I am very sorry that they are releasing this info. At the very least, it compromises intercept capabilities etc.

The news reporter is just trying to be 'fair' by witholding judgment on the tapes until they are seen. The reporter quotes the official as saying it WILL incriminate Iraq. That is why there is a difference.
