That was my thought. They said when it launched that it was the first non-science mission in 3 years. My thought at the time was that they might be doing some hi-res imaging of Iraq and/or DPRK.

I bet they were doing a little intelligence gathering up there.I have to wonder how likely that is. I would think that intelligence gathering could be done much more efficiently with unmanned devices controlled from the ground.
