To: Momaw Nadon
Just heard on the news that the Joint Chiefs are in some sort of "Domestic Events" meeting.

Does that mean that they think the possibility of terrorism has at least to be considered? Would they have that kind of meeting if it was clearly just an accident?

Also, if that present tense, "are", is accurate, it's very interesting they were able to get them all together on a Saturday morning (unless, of course, they were all together anyway, because of the Blair visit and war planning.)

No, domestic events meetings are natural occurring meetings when things of this magnitude happen. In fact, given that the shuttle was 200,000 feet in the air, it is nearly impossible a missle could reach that far and the administration has said they do not believe this was terrorism.
