Screw those a$$holes at DU. It was a wonderful speech.

OMG..WHAT did they find to ridicule about the President's statement?

Was his comfort too much for them? ~ Or did the President's faith upset them?

OMG..WHAT did they find to ridicule about the President's statement? Was his comfort too much for them? ~ Or did the President's faith upset them?

Let's see here . . .

"He can't keep his superstitious, mindless religious belief system to himself? He has to shove our face into it at every possible moment? He can't keep his mouth shut?"

"He had an almost panicked look on his face. Real shook up. I'll bet he didn't figure on all of this tough stuff when he schemed his way into the white house."

"Expression were so tranqilized, but I got right up to my 31 inch screen and his pupils were dialated to the size of dimes and he was blinking his eyes so rapidly that I thought he was going to lift off...."

"They use Ritalin on him . . . they sneak it into his JD."

"I just can't stomach seeing video images of him, stills are bad enough - but I can't imagine someone so cold and so self-absorbed crying about anything, except perhaps at having to curb his alcohol intake while in public. Speaking of which, I imagine he'll return to Camp David tonight to really tie one on. He had a rough day, having his holiday disturbed and such."

"I got up within 2 feet of a 31 inch television to see his eyes and there was not even a liquid glaze on the surface of his eye, All there was were pupils with a thin line of iris around it. He was blinkining so frantically that nay tears would have been running all over his face if he had been teary eyed. The blinking was the kind caused by extremely dry eyes from medication, or contact lenses. "

"I think that the preaching and Biblical quotations were just another way to pander to the religious right. He didn't look like he meant what he said, or was even aware of what he was saying."

"Just bizarre, which seems par for the course with this incredible imbecile."

"It was so rehearsed and so dead, no human response at all. The extensive biblical quote was quite offensive to me. He sounded more like a preacher than a president."

"I actually felt moved when I heard Reagan after the Challenger blew up, but this was bland, banal, and emotionless."
