Barring some unforeseen catostrophe for the Repubs, in 2004, the Dems are headed for about 40% of the vote. It will take them 15-20 years to recover.

Daschle is an idiot and partisan to the core. He's trying to play politics and he's playing it very poorly. And he's playing with our national security at stake. No wonder the dems do so poorly when it comes to national security poll questions. Keep it up there, tommy boy!
I hope to GOD, John Thune can defeat him in 2004.

Don't take anything for granted.
I spoke to a friend this afternoon. She went on a rant about her 401K and how it was Bush's war talk that was causing her stock to drop. It's also his fault that gasoline is so expensive now. Etc., etc.
Talking to her does no good. She llives in an alternative unoverse. She is not alone.
