Flight Engineer, Mission Specialist and former South Bay resident Kalpana Chawla was a gutsy woman with a penchant for exploring, whether it was the remote corners of Earth or outerspace, said high school classmate and Santa Clara University Professor Atulya Sarin.

Agreed.......

Just now I reflected on my Wedding Day when my Wife's Grandfather took me aside to give me something. He worked for NASA for like 30 years. He gave me two Space Shuttle collector belt buckle's. I was grateful but I never really checked them out.

I checked them out today......., And they were from Columbia.

And thats when my eye's teared up......

Well up until today things were going well. It only take one catastrphic accident to ruin a career of perfect accomplishment. Monday is going to be hard.
