Oregon Has At Least $11.04 Billion In Potential Surpluses of the Taxpayers Money it is not using.
I received this link via email today and since it is new to me and I hadn't heard of this before I felt it would be a good idea to solicit some comments from my fellow Freepers.
Thanks in advance.

I read something last week to the effect that "Oregon has 47,000 public employees, and at the first sign of a budget crunch they threaten to lay off 229 State Troopers...."excellent comment.....this farce won'tfly..

Nice numbers, bad logic. Most of those dollars are dedicated dollars. For instance, the unemployment dollars are in a Federal trust fund, dedicated (by Federal law) to payment of unemployment insurance.
