BRING signs that say "Friends of Saddam" and "Pro terrorist group" or the like, and be sure to draw huge arrows and stand very quietly with the arrows pointing toward the peace demonstrators.

Oh yeah, BTW, for any spelling cops here, PIECEnik's was an INTENTIONAL spelling, since these types really aren't the peaceful sort if you catch my drift.

The Politics of Direct Action (from their website)

Gee, another communist group is against the war. What a surprise.

I shouldn't paint them all with the same brush, though, right? < /sarcasm >-- even though ALL of the antiwar groups' websites sound essentially the same. The left insists that the peace movement is "increasingly mainstream" and that objecting to the social agenda of these groups is nothing more than red-baiting and McCarthyism.

Mainstream, my @$$.

Why didn't you bold this part?

We encourage any interested groups to plan creative and disruptive acts that do not harm people, but attempt to put a dent in the capitalist military machine that threatens us all. We not only seek to stop this war, but to stop the social problems that support militarism and exploitation.

(Sounds like they plan on breaking some windows, Dan. ;D)

Good catch Dan,
I'll give some serious thought to attending...
Thanks for the heads up.

We will be building a breakaway march to engage in direct action and civil resistance.

We are calling for all those interested in turning up the heat on Bush and company to join us for a creative and rowdy display of disruption of business as usual on February 15th in Lansing, Michigan.

For those of you who can NOT attend, such as myself, please at least write a letter to your local newspaper in support of George Bush and the war. I have noticed, over the last two months, an onslaught of letters-to-the-editor spewing their liberal garbage. It's time to fight back.

Remember to include your name, address, and phone number at the end of your letter because most papers require this information.

Dan- The weather has made the interstate too dangerous to travel on. I just attempted to drive from central Illinois to Lansing. My speed varied from 30mph to 50mph. Roads are snow packed, with an ice base. I got 35 miles from my home in an hour and 15 minutes. Left for Lansing at 4 am. The weather and road conditions worsened the further I traveled north. I am not going to make it up to Lansing today. Best of luck to all of you.

I listened to a former UN weapons inspector named Tierney on the radio program Coast to Coast, as I drove first up the interstate and then back down the interstate to my home. I would recommend that everyone listen to this broadcast. Very credible and chilling testimony on Saddam.

OK- Here's a bump for all of the outstanding freepers that are taking it to the enemy today !
