Almost everyone was appreciative of President Bush's moving tribute to the Columbia crew. There is always going to be a few malcontents that are too partisan Democrat to admit that it was a wonderfuly touching tribute. Before, during and after the cerimony the crowd of 10,000+ was so queit that the only sounds were the air conditioning compressors whining and the ocassional bird chirping.
I also attended the Houston Symphony's tribute concert last night at Jones Hall in downtown Houston. It was also a moving tribute that drew a capacity audience.
