ACCOMAC, Va. (AP) - A Virginia state trooper was shot and wounded and another person was shot to death as officers went into a house to arrest a man accused of plotting to poison water supplies, authorities said.
Phil Mann, chief division counsel with the Norfolk FBI office, said the trooper was shot in the arm and was in good condition. Virginia State Police did not release the trooper's name.

I think that he should get a LARGE glassfull of whatever he was planning to inflict on his neighbors!!

Do you suppose the man could be a member of any particular religious or ethnic group? I mean...I don't want to profile or jump to any conclusions or anything, but...just wondering.

Ipolito "Polo" Campos doesn't sound like an Arab name. Could it be that our brothers from the south are also a threat?

Time will tell, but we know that the L.P. issued a press release from its War On Liberties office: "We condemn the unjustified arrest and persecution of Mr. Campos, who was merely flexing his 2nd Amendment right to protect his 1st Amendment right to gather and talk with like-minded individuals. If Mr. Campos had murder on his mind, then let him commit an actual crime first, and then hire a private party to go and arrest him. This thought-crime event smacks of Orwell!" -Ima Phool, spokesperthing of the L.P.

Vast numbers of Guatemalans on the Eastern Shore...farm laborers. Very few Mexicans, actually.
I have a feeling there wasn't an actual plan to poison any water supplies...most people have wells, anyway. But someone involved in some sort of illegal activity...drugs, meth, etc....who made some comment to somebody.
I realize people are desperate for this to turn out to be a vast network of Muslims or something....I think you'll be disappointed.

This is just a little weird. Why were state police arresting Campos on a federal charge? And apparently, there is no evidence (to date) that the 'poisoning' accusation is true.
At the very least, this is a badly written story.

Neither does Jose Padilla, nor the sniper's non-Muslim name, I forgot what it is. Just because the media doesn't report their Muslim names, doesn't mean they don't have one.
So far every time there was some Muslim terrorist connection. If this one doesn't, it will be the first in recent times.

The Campos guy sounds like a nutter. But then, he didn't shoot the trooper, his pal did.
So there was something screwy going on with the pair...
