And the crack about Kerry was really out of place.Yes laurav, it was. I'm sitting here wondering what on earth it had to do with anything.

It's now Day 17 and counting of the Times' refusal to mention Ritter's arrest. Though the peace movement lost Ritter, it seems to have picked up Jerry Springer. Perhaps Springer is hoping he can get Scott Ritter's wife on the show to confront Ritter and the underage girl. LOL! Ouch! Watch out, Ann, that's sharp!

A deserved swipe at a guy who's been banking on the Irish vote out here for a while. This one I don't mind so much, although, as I've said before, I'm biased (Shamie Repub.).

Greetings laurav, FReepers, et al:
People may have their biases but they're too disorganized to be getting marching orders from anyone.
LOL! "Marching orders" are NOT dictated from the pulpit of an editor's spike? What a hoot! Biased liberals deny they are.

I'm no fan of his, you can bank on that.
Blast away at the Democrats, fire at will. Attack Kerry on his policies, you've got plenty of ammo, no doubt.
I'll say it again, I don't have any idea as to what his 'Jewishness' has to do with anything. Nobody seems to be able to explain it either.
To: He Rides A White Horse
For my part, I'll simply state my support for the President, and his policy towards Iraq.
Regardless of whether he is Jewish or not.

Ms. Coulter uses the tactics of the Democrats against them. She does it well and, most of the time, with some class. She says what I (in a fit of temper) wish I could say, but know that I'm not smart enough or fast enough on my feet to maintain, so I stick with reason, long explanations and tons of evidence.
But, *she* gets attention, **she** is consistent, **she** calls the leftists and their supporters - intentional and accidental - on their hypocrisy.
Those non sequitors and snide asides are inspirational. Better than the best red herrings of the Left. They are never gratuitous, never false, and often it's the first I've heard of the issue she raises.
(Although, I do get the impression that she's a little self-conscious, overly aware of how she looks and the perception of that by others. I don't know how she wouldn't be. Maybe it's projection on my part.)

Doc, I've said how I feel, and that will do it for me.
I'm not one to agree with everything somebody says just because she's perceived as a 'hottie'. Over and out.
To: He Rides A White Horse
I could never vote for a candidate for whom a pertinent question would be: "So, what is your real name?"
Couldn't do it for Hart. Couldn't do it for Clinton. Can't do it for Hillary!, and could never do it for Kerry.
To: JohnHuang2
Ann Coulter is just fantastic. Not afraid to speak her mind, she'll take on anyone on the looney left without being apologetic about it. One of my favorite columnists, but Peggy Noonan is still tops in my book. No one is as eloquent and passionate in expressing the right viewpoints.
To: hocndoc
Those non sequitors and snide asides are inspirational.......and I'm not feeling particularly inspired at the moment. Queasy is more like it.

What a hoot! Biased liberals deny they are.Hmm.. that's a bit of a Catch-22. If you say you're guilty, you are. If you say you're not, you're in denial.
Coulter writes about The Media as if it's one unified entity, an entity which also includes all liberal politicians. That's the only way I can think that she'd be connecting the New York Times with John Kerry. That's no more accurate than claiming Sen. Frist, all Freepers, the Washington Times, etc. get our marching orders from Rush Limbaugh or other such conservative nerve center.

Nothing - other than Coulter's need to be a smart-aleck.

Coulter has managed to get herself dropped from mainstream news outlets where she could convince people.Acceptability to mainstream news outlets is hardly a virtue in the truth-seeking or declaring business.
Now she writes almost entirely for conservative news outlets where everyone already agrees with her.
There is nothing wrong with that. And believe me, her enemies seek her out even in the conservative fora where she is found. They may rage about her, but they cannot ignore her.
The function of op-ed writing is to convey ideas and persuade, not make the writer look clever.
Op-ed writing exists for many reasons. One is to serve as a lightning rod for disaffection that has little or nothing to do with persuading--especially persuading the unpersuadable. The Op-ed page may properly serve as a platform from which to blow a clarion call to battle--and to hell with those disagree.
And clever, clear writing can do much to make the call sharp and bright.

Sometimes ya just don't like somebody. I think I'm almost lock-step with the message; I just don't like the medium. Like I said, I don't know why, perhaps it's because I prefer brunettes, perhaps it's because Ms. Coulter hasn't had time to grow on me, I don't know. I will say this: I used to read her fairly often. Now I don't. *shrug*. I have no agenda against Coulter. I agree with her on the issues. I'm just not a fan of her writing anymore. She lost me after the Clintonistas lost power (OH FRABJOUS DAY!), basically.

In the event of a nuclear terrorist attack, the safest place to be is in the lobby of the New York Times building. Or so they think.
To: OneLoyalAmerican
Thank you for your visual representation of what I've been ham-handedly trying to say a few times. ;-) IRISH GETS THE VOTES IN MA! Kerry has been referred to as "Irish-American" *repeatedly* by the local and national press. "Ooopsie!"
