I'm chewing my way through the Atlantic article and have to observe the editors cut their usual writing standards by half to print Kennedy's drivel. Really weak, weak narrative, like the following:
"I know Michael Skakel, my first cousin, as well as any one person can know another. We attended hundreds of alcoholism-recovery meetings together. In that context and others we shared our deepest feelings."
