Throwing Israel to the Dogs

Who are the dogs? Packs of dogs can be extremely dangerous, particularly when there is a past history of their savaging a victim. The pack to which I refer is the "Quartet", which is gathering to close in on Israel. The "Quartet" is comprised of the United Nations, the U.S. State Department, the European Union and Russia.

The United Nations, led now by Kofi Annan and driven by a large block of Arab nations, has voted against Israel 55,642 times and passed 429 resolutions against Israel. The Quartet are all members of the UN. So think of the UN, given its past record of extreme hostility to Israel and how it has artfully avoided passing resolutions against Arab states, like a savage pack of predatory dogs, proven, by their votes, to be "hunting" down the Jewish state. Israel, meanwhile, is the only nation permanently barred from UN Security Council membership.

Let us move to the European Union. Although their member nations belong to the UN, they operate as a separate pack. Their collective backgrounds vis-a-vis the Jewish people is hideous beyond description. These nations, led by Germany, France, England, etc., have unmercifully savaged the Jewish people for hundreds, even thousands, of years, driven by the anti-Jewish doctrine from the Church of Rome. This Church-taught hatred and unremitting persecution seemingly culminated when they assisted Hitler round up their own Jewish citizens or when they killed them directly. Regrettably, that hideous snarling face was hidden for a time, but now it has returned.

These European nations have not only exhibited their hatred through inhuman brutality, but now they seek to please the Arab/Muslim world and those Arab/Muslims who live in the European nations in numbers approaching a critical mass. The EU is a member in good standing of this monstrous cabal gathered up under the title of the "Quartet". The EU constantly hamstrings US policy in the Middle East. The EU, having shrugged off their participation in hunting and killing the Jews of Europe, have once again gathered as a pack to hunt the Jews of Israel.

The Russians also have a well documented history of oppressing their Jews. When the local poretz (local authority or landlord), or even the Czar, was not squeezing the Jewish community for bribes, they mounted frequent pogroms of killing, raping and burning Jews and their property. The Russian Church preached hatred to the peasantry, who, in their ignorance, poured out of the Church after fiery sermons to kill the Jews, whom their priests had accused of killing the their Jewish god. But the aristocracy, in league with the Church, had their own protection racket. They extracted money from the Jews, either as a straight threat or by loans that they would not repay.

Moving from the Czars up to and including Joseph Stalin’s time, the Jews were oppressed mercilessly - forced to live in the "Pale of Settlement", crowded into ghettos, murdered outright, as in the infamous Doctors’ Plot massacre. Even after Stalin died, the Jews were persecuted for wanting to move to Israel by being sent to city prisons, the Gulag prison camps or to Siberia. Natan Sharansky, now a member of Knesset in Israel, can testify to the horrors of the Lubyanka prison. Ida Nudel, called the Angel of the Soviet Jewish prisoners, can tell you about the frozen Siberian camps. So the former Soviet Union and Russia’s past savagery has made it a perfect addition to the "Quartet" pack. Even today, Russia arms Syria, transfers nuclear technology to Iran and remains Saddam Hussein’s advocate.

Then we have the leader of the "Quartet", the American Secretary of State and the consistently anti-Israel State Department. Here, we run into a spectrum of confusion. America, her citizens and her congress have all been loyal friends and allies to Israel as the only democracy in the Middle East, which shares the Judeo-Christian ethic with most Americans. The Arabist State Department does not share America’s fondness for the Jewish State. There are vested interests with tight financial connections to the Arab oil nations, like Saudi Arabia and other Arab oil states, who easily influence the US State Department. Often, when ambassadors’ terms expire, they become highly paid lobbyists for Arab governments or multi-national corporations. These include, but are not limited to, the oil industry, the weapons industry and various other corporations that rely heavily upon the cash flow from contracts with the Arab nations, including those who are considered rogue terrorist states and sponsors of terrorism. This pack lobbies both the successive presidential administrations and the US State Department, in effect, representing the interests of the Arab/Muslim nations, which are hostile to the security and sovereignty of America and of Israel.

The U.S. State Department has a mixed, but clearly identifiable bias against the Jewish state, even before the partition vote of 1947. It worked diligently for the Arabs to thwart the UN vote. After Palestine was partitioned into a Jewish and Arab state, the US State Department continued using its considerable powers to undercut the newborn Jewish state of Israel, while also making every effort to advance the Arab/Muslim cause against Israel.

The State Department was motivated by many factors. There was the long-term bias against Jews. This bias stemmed both from early attitudes of anti-Semitism among its personnel, often driven by the missionaries who were recruited in the early years to serve as outreach ambassadors for US policy in nations where they had contacts with those governments. These missionaries cycled back into the main body of what became the State Department, there to further spread the teachings of the Church, namely that the Jews had killed their selected Jewish god. The US State Department is deeply anti-Semitic and has never made any effort to expunge their bias against the Jews.

The Quartet’s "Road Map" flagrantly undermines President Bush’s fundamental policy declaration of June 24, 2002. The president stipulated that the United States would not support a Palestinian State unless "new leaders not compromised by terror engage in a sustained fight against the terrorists and dismantle their infrastructure." But the Quartet would further reward terrorism by compelling Israel to destroy almost 200 Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, thus dismantling its early warning system and ceding the heart of Biblical Israel to an implacable foe.

Once again, the beasts have gathered under the title: the “Quartet”. I have no doubt the action of the "Quartet" will be marked in history as a parallel to the Inquisition, the Russian pogroms, the Nazi Holocaust (with European participation), the Arab Council (or whatever name is given to savage dog packs who snarl and fight to chew the flesh of their non-Muslim victims - including Christians and Jews). This is the "Quartet", which has anointed themselves as the next persecutors of the Jewish nation.

“How can America support a ‘Road Map’ that would (A) make a mockery of their war against terrorism by rewarding terrorism with statehood, undermining U.S. credibility world-wide; (B) betray America’s commitment to human rights; (C) after the religious cleansing of Bethlehem, Beit Jallah and Ramallah, further threaten the future of Christians in the region; (D) expose the Hashemite Jordan to a Palestinian take-over; (E) encourage intransigence from Iraq, Iran, Syria, Libya, and other Terrorist states?”(1)

It is most unfortunate that this issue of Israel’s future security, shape and sovereignty must be dealt with now, when the war against Iraq needs unity. Colin Powell is leading the effort to get support of the recalcitrant states such as France and Germany. However, to strive to secure Israel’s future now is not to be unsupportive of America’s goals in the war against global terrorism. On the contrary, to stand fast for Israel’s wholeness will only further strengthen that war.

My deepest concern is that newly re-elected Prime Minister Ariel Sharon believes he can offer revisions to the "Road Map" that will be accepted by the Quartet. If the Quartet subverted the terms stated by President Bush in June 2002, Sharon can expect that, once he is pushed into the arena, as Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir was in Madrid in 1991, Sharon will be told to do what the Quartet demands. He could refuse to be the proverbial bull in the corrida (bull-ring). Sadly, Jewish leaders always think they can overcome the tremendous external pressures - especially if exerted by our best friend and ally, the United States.

We in the Judeo-Christian world are in a fight for our lives with Islam. Please demand of the American President and Congress that Israel, one of our staunchest allies and front line fighters, not be sacrificed in an effort to appease Arab terrorists.

The World Powers Dividing Up the Land of Israel- and Paying the Scriptural Price

Since July 16, 2002 the major world powers are already pressing for precisely this division of the land of Israel. On that date US Secretary of State Colin Powell met with representatives from the European Union, the United Nations, and Russia (the ‘Quartet’) and issued a statement in New York City, part of which is quoted: "The Quartet remains committed to implementing the vision of two states, Israel and…Palestine . . .The Quartet calls upon Israel to take concrete steps to support the emergence of a viable Palestinian state . . .The Quartet reaffirms that… the Israeli occupation that began in 1967 must end . . . On September 17, 2002 the Quartet issued a further statement, quoted in part: The Quartet is working closely…on a concrete, three-phase implementation roadmap that could achieve a final settlement within three years . . .In its initial phase (2002-first half of 2003)… Israeli withdrawals . . . In the plan's second phase (2003)… creating a Palestinian state with provisional borders . . . In its final phase (2004-5)…consistent with the vision expressed by President Bush, this means that the Israeli occupation that began in 1967 will be ended through…Israeli withdrawal to secure and recognized borders.

The Quartet--- The Nations who have Crossed the line of Demarcation

The Bible’s perspective on the Quartet’s joint declaration is that these nations who have signed on to the above statements have crossed a line of demarcation, and that these attempts to divide the land of Israel are strongly displeasing to the God of Jacob (see Deut.32:8-10; Zech.2:12).

Could the explosion over Palestine, Texas be God’s way of drawing world attention to the matter of ‘Palestine’ – specifically, to the divine cost America and other nations will have to pay if they continue to be committed to establishing a Palestinian state on the land that God has promised to Israel alone?

Could the Columbia shuttle’s name and tragic destiny be a prophetic wake-up call to the world in general and to the Unites States of America in particular? Are American efforts to re-divide the biblical land of Israel leading it toward a fatal crash – a ‘crash into Palestine’?

Will there be much collateral damage not only for the USA, but for the nation of Israel as well? And if God is warning world leaders about His own feelings, intentions and plans regarding international treatment of Israel and the Jewish people, are any of these world leaders listening? Do any of these world leaders care? Is anyone taking Israel’s God, the God of the Bible seriously?

One hour after the Columbia’s explosion, Israel Radio’s newscaster described how the explosion had taken place over Palestine, Texas. She then moved to the next news item. Just one day before, the announcer intoned, President Bush had declared his commitment and intent to work for the establishment of two states, Israel and a democratic Palestine, side by side. The anchorwoman’s easy transition between the two uses of the word Palestine was smooth, but in context the effect of linking those two words was chilling.

We encourage you to pray with us for your nation’s leaders, that revelation and wisdom will be given them regarding God’s unchanging love and fierce zeal for His Jewish people, His land of Israel and its God-given borders (Jer.30:16-17, 23-24; Joel 3:14-16; Gen.15:18-21).

Pray that your own leaders will not recklessly attempt to divide up the land of Israel (Zech.2:8-9, 13).

Pray that Israel’s leaders will not grow weary and cave in to constant international pressure and political witchcraft (e.g. Isa.31:1).

On January 26 Colonel Ilan Ramon wrote an e-mail from the space shuttle Columbia to Israeli President Moshe Katzav. In it he voiced a prophetic hope and prayer regarding the Jewish people, that “all that’s needed is the right leadership to bring the people of Israel to the heights of Heaven” (Jerusalem Post, Thursday January 30 2003, page 5).

Pray that God will bring revival once again to Israel and save His people, revealing Messiah Yeshua to them as their Righteous Leader and High Priest who will bring them into the very presence of Heaven (Psa.28:9; Zech.12:10; Isa. 45:25; 60:14-22; 9:6-7).

Ode to Ramon

Ilan Ramon was not the first Jew to travel outside the earth's
atmosphere, but his voyage was certainly the most special for us. He
was the first to go not as an individual, but as the representative of
the entire Jewish people. That is why, although he did not identify as
an observant Jew, he insisted that NASA provide him only kosher food.
He hung a mezuzah on one of the portals of his capsule. In his bag was
a book of Psalms and a dollar bill from the Lubavitcher Rebbe. As he
passed over Jerusalem, he said the Shma Yisrael. And the whole world
watched as he lifted a small Torah scroll that had miraculously
survived Auschwitz.

Why the Almighty took him and the other six astronauts from us as He
did, I will not even venture to know. But I must admit that in so many
ways I envy him. Sure, I envy all those who get to travel to outer
space -- but nobody ever carried anything like his kind of baggage. You
could say that he took an entire nation -- 3400 years of history
included -- to the heavens. Proving that none of us, no matter how far
we may journey, ever goes alone.

The imagery of the stars of heaven falling to earth (whole house of Israel, as represented by the two sticks of America and Israel) is a sign of the coming of Messiah.

The Constellation Columba (from which the shuttle Columbia was named) was originally part of Canis Major, the dog which is at the heels of the mighty hunter.

This makes sense, if the seven stars ARE six plus a seventh - a star of David - and the Kimah were changed into doves, i.e. the seven stars of the constellation Columba ("dove"), represented by the Columbia astronauts.

It means the rebirth of Israel, the Messianic age, and the symbols which Ilan Ramon took into the heavens represent everything he had hoped they would in a way he could not even imagine. Tu B'Shevat = the new year and planting of trees... Ilan! Shevet tov...

M, I have been studying prophecy all my life. I SAW the Columbia explode days before it happened like a movie playing in my mind. I made the long trip to see my Rabbi and told him what I had seen. He wasn't shocked, dismayed, unbelieving, or reproving. He told me that if true, it was the way it was meant to be, that Ilan Ramon had also known, indeed they all did.
That accounted for the amazing bonding process which took place between that glorious crew. I have heard that they were NEVER out of touch with each other.
They were so at peace they smiled all of the time, caught by surprise on film, or just smiling at the cameras. They knew.
Ramon gathered in all of his heritage and proclaimed it from the stars. With him were to a soul, very spiritual people. My Rabbi said this was not an end but the final countdown to the new beginning.
I almost couldn't stand it. I told Cache the night before. I cried and cried until no tears were left, but I knew in my heart that the Rabbi was right.
Whenever anything like this happens to me, I am forced to sleep. I woke up exactly 2 seconds before the Columbia was lost.
Evidently, the astronauts had also given cryptic hints to their families. When Ramon's daughter watched the take-off, she uttered that she had just lost her daddy. Other family members are telling like stories, words spoken and unspoken that they didn't understand...or maybe didn't want to.
Cache has seen these things from me before and held my hand throughout, understanding what I was going through, but I tried to tell him it wasn't me. It was G-d. I know it.
I saw the same thing when the Challenger blew when I was much younger. On board that ship was an Asian man whose name meant, literally, satan. It was forboding and since then, the world has gone insane,
There is a resurgence of Jewish Pride in Israel because of Ramon, but I would be very remiss if I did not include the murder of my friend, Rabbi Natanel Ozeri in stirring the *city cousins* towards a greater understanding of Yesha (Settlements,) and how the leftist governments have allowed the palestinians to defile and desecrate all of our most holy sites, including The Temple. Our history throughout that area is so rich and so lasting, that all the defilements in the world cannot cause those holy places to become unholy. What is unholy is how we have been barred from seeking any kind of redress to return Joseph's Tomb, Rachel's Tomb, The Temple of the Patriarchs, and the filth that stands in the eye of all of Israel atop Solomen's Temple.
I expect that many of us will die before this tribulation has ended. I cannot think of a more worthwhile reason to commit my life than to the Glory of G-d. It is happening even though there are so many, the world, against us. We ARE the world although evil has arisen in our own midst.
Michael has always been there, testing, watching, arousing us from our slumbers, pushing us to do more, learn more, and PREVAIL.
I have gathered many things to use for a very special tribute to the Columbia, not just Ramon, but each and every one of these magnificent people. They are starstuff now, which is what I have always believed we were for as long as I can remember.
I haven't gone through the shock process completely yet. I might not ever.

Pray with all your might for President Bush. No Human since Moses has ever been asked by G-d to set His people free and he does so at his own peril.
Pay particular heed to the fact that the statements coming from lower level Arabist State Dept. People are in direct conflict with Bush's STATED policy. Also bear in mind that though they have done everything in their power to hide it, Bush DID sign into law the bill whereby the US recognized Jerusalem as the ETERNAL capitol of Israel.
I also see that at least 3/4 of the world's population will not survive this.
The quest spoken of in Job will continue because the stars are our parents' homes...our lost link, the yearning of the soul to find its source. This is something to remember when it begins to seem as if it will never end. But it will...and next time, WE will be the *sons of G-d* spoken of in Gen: 6, because that is what we are in training for.

Nix's post is 100% believable. It confirms what I noted on January 10th (and emailed a couple of people about)... that Ilan Ramon is the "strong/high tree" in Daniel 4 which reached unto heaven in sight of all the earth, and was hewn down. The sight of Columbia breaking up over Palestine Texas was a sign for Bush, the modern king of Babylon (spiritually, and literally in due time). Twelve months from the dream, Nebuchadnezzar lost his mind and his kingdom, until seven times would passover him. The state of the union is precarious indeed.

Throw that together with post 15 above, the Columbia as the Kimah being moved out of its place* in the pre-dawn sky, the six stars plus the Star of David (America + Israel, representing the whole house of Israel), and the picture painted with Nix's post is inescapable.

Ramon was born Ilan Wolferman, in June 1954, in a suburb of Tel Aviv, the younger of two boys. He changed his last name after finishing flight school (crafting it from some of the letters in Wolferman). He was following the example of Israel's founding prime minister, who had decreed that all Israeli fighters should have Hebrew names and changed his own from David Green to David Ben-Gurion.

Curiously enough, if you take "Ramon" out of Wolferman, you are left with "flew". That is, Ilan Wolferman = "Ilan Ramon flew".
