I fear you are likely correct.

I must be stupid, because I can't figure out why the liberals think that weapons of mass destruction in the hands of a madman are no threat to the United States or Iraq's neighbors, but ordinary firearms in the hands of law-abiding, responsible citizens are a grave threat.
