Mr. Cooper simply was stating that Senator Lott's comments were not PC and unfortunately, being politically correct or not politically correnct is important to advancing what we all believe in...

So tell me, if being politically correct is important to advancing what we all believe in, and the majority of these United States claim to be Christian of one denomation or other, and it's not politically correct to state you're a Christian or share your beliefs, what exactly are we advancing again?

The same could be said of smaller government, states rights, the right of a citizen to carry a firearm, a Republic instead of a democracy, no welfare, etc. All these are un PC to talk about. But if we can't talk about them and defend them, how are we supposed to advance them?
