Really? Where do I find the statistics that back that up?
Really? Where do I find the statistics that back that up?
There aren't any.
Rapist and their victims were likely to be of the same race. In rapes with one offender, about 7 of every 10 white victims were raped by a white offender and about 8 out of every 10 black victims were raped by a black offender. (U.S. Dept. Of Justice, Bureau of Justice Statistics, Female Victims of Violent Crime, NCJ - 126826, 1991)
Some highlights: Victims:
- In 2001, there were 249,000 victims of rape, attempted rape or sexual assault. [2000 National Crime Victimization Survey. Bureau of Justice Statistics.]
- Of these 249,000, 102,000 were victims of sexual assault, 63,000 were victims of attempted rape, and 84,000 were victims of completed rape. [2000 NCVS.]
- Among people 12 and older, about 83.5% of the US population is white, and 82.5% of rape victims are white; 13.3% of victims are black, compared to 12.3% of the population; and 4.2% of both victims and the population are of other races. [2000 NCVS.]
Highlights: Perpetrators:
- The average age of rapists at arrest is 31. Fifty-two percent are white; twenty-two percent of imprisoned rapists report that they are married. [SOO, 1997]
And Here: http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bjs/pub/ascii/soo.txt
-*The racial distribution of arrestees for rape is similar to the racial distribution for all violent UCR arrests--56% of arrestees for rape in 1995 were white, 42% were black, and 2% were of other races.
The FBI statistics on crime show that white on black rape is extremely rare, and black on white rape is extremely common.
BTW, I don't mean to imply agreement with the racist notion that all black men are lusting to rape "our wimmin." That's just stupid.
