South Side gets streetside pay toilet

Pittsburgh today is to get its first automatic public toilet, a "state-of-the-art" computerized flusher at 18th and Carson streets on the South Side.

The toilet has been installed by Clear Channel Adshel, the company that has also been installing bus shelters with seating along Pittsburgh streets.

They would make a fortune on these things down here in Mobile, AL during the upcoming Mardi Gras season. Shoot, people pay $1/wiz at regular port-o-lets. The stupid city puts up about 40 of these things downtown during Mardi Gras for 40,000 people. It's absolutly insane....
So, many people bring their own on the back of trucks and charge on a per-use basis and make a fortune during this season.
