WOW, it was great to see Hatch get worked up like that...if I thought that dems were capable of it, I would think that some of them would feel ashamed of their stand against Estrada.

I sent a personalized e-mail to both of my senators and urge you to do likewise. (Feinstein example shown below):

Dear Senator Feinstein:

A judicial nominee of the caliber of Miguel Estrada must receive consideration by the entire Senate.

It is your duty, Ms. Feinstein, to your substantial Hispanic constituency throughout California to speak out against this unwarranted and -- dare I say -- racially biased attempt by certain Democrat senators to prevent our Mr. Estrada from being voted on by the whole Senate.

I appreciate and expect your immediate attention to influence your fellow senators to stop the filibuster.

Sen. Hatch is too good for the current crop of corrupted Dems. He's fighting hard for his nominees, but his opponents are cheaters and liars. Orrin should bring in Ann Coulter to assist. (^:

More of today's Orrin quotes:

"We've hardly had a better nominee in my 27 years on the judiciary committee."
"We see a different standard being applied here today."
"He answered every question they asked."
"They controlled the hearing."
"We've had some people say that he's not hispanic enough."
"Why is it that he's not being given the opportunity so far that any good person should have."
"He's a hispanic-Republican who might be a conservative."
"All 7 of the current living former Solicitor Generals said that this should not be done...four of them Democrats." "Awful precident that has never been asked for before."
"We're at a point where we may be facing the first true filibuster in the history of the United States of a lesser court nominee."
"Never before has a circuit court nominee or any district court nominee been filibustered. We're talking about Federal judges."
