Well, much as I hate to say it, this doesn't indicate that al-Qaida is a partner of Iraq. It's more of a call to arms on behalf of Iraq.

Yeah, I agree with you. I don't doubt that there are connections between Iraq and bin Laden, but I think pointing to this as some kind of new evidence is tenuous at best and has more of an appearance of grasping at straws to get the world to go along with us. I think we just need to accept the reality that we only have a precious few real allies, and go take care of business while telling the rest of them to...well...to shut up and stay out of the way unless they plan to really challenge us to protect Saddam.

We actually have many allies!! The entire Baltic nation states are backing us. Australia is with us. Italy and Spain are with us. And I read today, Canada has just announced to send in some troops, who are on their way and they may be supplying equipment such as planes and ships. And of course the Brits are on board. Turkey is with us. We have over a 21 nation coalition.

France and Germany and of course Russia are making alot of noise, but we have the support and help of many nations. Oh, I forgot India is also on board, and of course our one and truest ally in the ME, ISRAEL.

France doesn't even have an army, and but one military plane. Who needs 'em? And Germany is not really an ally. They have been supplying Iraq with WMD, it has been revealed, through their chemical companies.

Also, many Arab nations actually want Saddam out, and our supporting us, even though they are not as vocal as some for fear of uprise in their own countries.

Just because OBL is speaking out now does not mean that Al Queda and Saddam has not been entertwined prior to this tape. Al Queda members have to be in Iraq for some time and just waiting for the command to commence their onslaught. Don't forget the first thing these people do is lie. They lie until they catch you off guard and then wham.

Why would we believe Saddam and OBL over Colin Powell and GWB? The last time something happened, I remember those who asked what did they know and when did they know it. So lets give our guys the benefit of the doubt now that they are telling us what they know. When we see the smoking gun, it just might be too late.

The moslem that recently killed one of our soldiers in Kuwait has a son named after OBL.

I know I am probably repeating what has already been said, or I am "preaching to the choir" so to speak, but am I safe in saying that the Islamic nation views the Iraq issue as one primarily of religion? From his statement, it certainly appears that Mr. Bin Laden does. He presents no message of national pride, or "big country picking on little country", or "poor" vs. "wealthy" - just religion.

I therefore ask - since we keep hearing repeatedly from the left, how peaceful the Islamic religion really is - where is the global (or even national) leader of the Islamic faith saying how wrong Mr. Bin Laden is; or how much the nation of Islam wants peace and abhors violence; or how much the nation of Islam wishes to work with their Christian brothers to find peace?

Nope...not a sound. Nary a peep. So, may we then assume that by their silence on the matter, that the nation of Islam in fact views this as a religious war as well and agrees with the position of Mr. Bin Laden?

Should we not demand of "peaceful" Islamic leadership that they take the time and make the effort to publicly denounce as false Mr. Bin Laden's call to arms?

If no Islamic leader steps forward, then can we not assume that the nation of Islam has set itself agains all other religions? And, if this is the case, should we not, in the role of "enemy" get to know our opponents better? Should we not be closely observing their "forts" (places of worship), to include taking photographs of groups/individuals? Should we not be constantly reporting suspicious activities of our opponents to proper legal authorities? Should we not demand of our Federal government to remove immediately from our country all (repeat ALL) illegal immigrants - beginning with those of Islamic faith first (as our sworn enemies)?

We as citizens, civilians, and non-Islamics can do a great deal during this war.

By their silence, those of the Islamic faith have declared to us that we are their enemy. No citizen of any country should be required or expected to provide peace, comfort, security, livelihood, or shelter to enemy soldiers.

The war began - as we are all aware - on 9/11. The "first shot" was not fired by non-Islamics! It is now time to assist in our own defense. Islamics - if in our country illegally - must be deported at once. NOW! All other Islamics (note: race is not important here - religion is)must be watched carefully. Should one of these manage somehow to harm any one (or more) of us, the fault will lie with us.

We must act in our own defense. To do that, we must get to know the professed enemy. And we must stop them - cold.
