This is truly sad. But how could this happen now? Are we (the U.S.) going to have to give them another billion or so as we just did for aids?

What does the U.N. do? Are we the only country that funds the starving and inflicted? Where has all the U.N. UNICEF money in orange boxes been going to, Koffi's limos?

One of the biggest fears in the civilized world is that this stuff gets out some how and moves into the international systems. It would cause total paralysis when and if it ever did.

Spread almost as easily as the flu but far more deadly Ebola is a hard disease to spread. If it wasn't there would be millions dead like with the flu. Now if Ebola was airborne like the Flu I would worry.

There is just something fishy when Communist Chinese "UN peacekeeping" forces go to the middle of nowhere--expect a country known for Ebola. You don't think that the ChiComs are doing their peacekeeping out of the generosity of their good hearts, do you?

No, I don't think the Chinese government does much out of the generosity of their good hearts. They are trying desperately to become a developed nation though, which means relying pretty heavily on western countries for things like trade. So whatever their ultimate goals may be, my personal guess is that things like this fit into the "prove to the West that we are good people so that they will help us" category.

Well, the way things are going, the U.S. has enough on its plate! Just step back, relax, and this disease will take care of itself. I know, will get slammed for this but I am tired of us rushing to the rescue, only to get attacked.



They claim it is the medical workers who bring the virus to the region.
