It is irony beyond irony. Many of the leading members of the old SDS anti-war protesters (Mark Rudd, Bernadette Dohrn) were Jewish and now their radical ideological descendents are kicked out of American anti-war movements. In the Russian revolution, many of the leading Bolsheviks were Jewish, and they were later killed by Stalin. Socialism, Bolshevism, etc. has never worked, but Jewish Americans still vote and contribute money to left-wing causes in an overwhelming proportion to their small numbers. Stupid isn't the word for it.

it's a generational thing...many people my parents age still have this misplaced admiration for the democrats and that habit is hard to break.
we're voting GOP in increasing numbers.

1. The Trotsky's make the Revolution and the Bronstein's suffer.
2. Don't confuse the ethnic/religious heritage of leftists with their beliefs. Marxism is very anti-Jewish.
Check out "On the Jewish Question" by Marx. His solution is to destroy Judaism, but maintain Jews as a ethnic group.
