Border agent taken to UMC after attack in desert

After being attacked by what officials suspect were illegal immigrants, a U.S. Border Patrol agent was air-lifted to University Medical Center Tuesday night.

FBI spokesperson Susan Herskovits said the agent spent about 40 minutes unconscious in the desert before other Border Patrol agents located him. Herskovits said the agent was tracking a group of illegal immigrants, when he came upon a second group and a "scuffle" ensued.

I read the other day that if the US sustains an attack with bio or chemical weapons of mass destruction, the Mexican and Canadian borders would be closed (by THOSE countries) so that Americans could not escape and find refuge in their countries.

Our troops need to be pulled out of Germany, North Korea, Bosnia, etc. and placed on both borders.

... but it will not happen, as you said.

Oh I totally agree that the implications of no fence in the past and especially the future are far more expensive in the long run.

Can you imagine the liberal outcry about the monetary cost as well as the "racist" implications? It's time we Americans take America back.

It's going to take a huge public uprising DEMANDING that our politicians do something about this situation before something will be done. Unfortunately I'm afraid that would only happen if we had more terrorist acts committed on our soil and it could be proven that the terrorists came across the N or S borders illegally.

I would really like to know what the hell is going on???? Christ, these illegals could be terrorists. We're on a terrorist alert, and instead of locking down the borders, we're told to buy lots of water, duct tape, and plastic sheeting. Sometimes I get so infuriated at the blatant stupidity of some people I just want to cry...
