"The Governor of Arizona promised visiting Mexican lawmakers that she would sign legislation that would allow undocumented [read: illegal] immigrants in that state to obtain drivers licenses," reported Mexicos EFE wire service on January 14th. The meeting between Janet Napolitano and five members of the Mexican Chamber of Deputies occurred just a few days before Napolitano was sworn in as Arizona governor.
Napolitano had promised Arizonas Hispanic community that she would allow illegal aliens to obtain state drivers licenses. "Were very pleased with the governors position, and hope that our fellow countrymen can obtain drivers licenses in the very near future," stated Mexican Congressman Efren Leyva Acevedo. Arizona citizens who support the rule of law, unadulterated citizenship, and the preservation of national sovereignty should be less enchanted with their new governors subversive campaign promise to a foreign government.

This must have happened when Jane Hull and Napoltiano took a trip to Mexico.
Napolitano had promised Arizonas Hispanic community that she would allow illegal aliens to obtain state drivers licenses.
This should be enough to impeach our Gubnah NapoliTraitor. I knew about this meeting and never thought we'd get any press in Arizona on the details. She is using her power to promise the Congress of Mexico the issuance of legal documents to non-citizen lawbreakers and behind our backs.
Please pass this on.

Why do we even borders? Let's abolish the INS, they are ineffective and expensive anyway
To: madfly
So if she wants to reward non-citizens with drivers' licenses for breaking the law, what will she reward us citizens with for breaking the law, and which laws should we break to get the most benefit?

Butch cannot sign this bill unless it's presented to her; and with a more conservative legislature, I doubt it will happen.

The insidious invasion continues, state by state, as our President continues to maintain open borders.

She has confessed to a crime. Sentence her and move on. She's a pig.

I may be wrong, but doesn't international law already allow you to obtain a drivers license? Thus, I can get a license which is good everywhere but the US. This seems like just another worthless idea.

Hey girl, I emailed Cong. Graf about this and mentioned that you had met him and had great faith in him. He responded in less than an hour with the following:
Thanks for the support. Donna is wonderful and I appreciate her help. I spoke with our Governor and am concerned with her attitude toward the driver license issue.
Sincerely,
Rep. Randy Graf
House Majority Whip
Legislative District 30
(602) 542-3235

I am way impressed. Nice to get a pat on the back. You deserve it with all the time you spend, making a point to talk to our Politicos face to face. Thanks.

"The Governor of Arizona promised visiting Mexican lawmakers that she would sign legislation that would allow undocumented [read: illegal] immigrants in that state to obtain drivers licenses,"This reduces the value of American citizenship to zero.
Coming to a state near you.

Arizonans can thank the Libertarians and the Perot crowd for this mess. The doper vote and the dopes gave them Napolitano.

I feel so proud of my governor. NOT!!!! I hope the legislature keeps that woman in line. Liberals in places of power = trouble, trouble, and more trouble.
Can any of you recommend a state I can move to that has a Republican/conservative governor and legislature?

Don't forget the counties with Indian Gaming. She did not win in Maricopa County, the largest in the state.

She made an awful lot of promises during her recent campaign which somehow conviced a lot of voters to pull the lever for her.
I don't remember hearing this one!
