A Michigan school has suspended two students who reportedly had sex under a table during class.
Kennedy Middle School in St. Clair Shores, Mich., is conducting an investigation into the inappropriate behavior of two of its students.
Officials say two eighth-grade students were caught having sex under a science lab table in the back of the classroom last week.
The class and teacher were reportedly involved in an exercise, so they didn't notice the students' behavior.
"I've been in this business for 30 years and I'm appalled," said John Brackett, the superintendent of the school district.
Brackett said he hopes parents will use this experience to open a dialogue with their children about sex.
The school plans to hold a forum to help parents discuss the topic with their children, Detroit's WDIV-TV reported.
The science teacher was put on paid leave until the investigation is over.
Police say the two students involved in the incident may face charges.

Yea, well, what do you expect when kids are brainwashed with "sex ed" in govt schools? Plus, thanks to the evolutionists, kids are brainwashed into thinking we are nothing but animals.
So why is everyone shocked when kids act like animals?

So why is everyone shocked when kids act like animals? Absolutely right.
"I've been in this business for 30 years and I'm appalled," said John Brackett, the superintendent of the school district.
The supt is appalled but govt schools helped create the mess.

"Brackett said he hopes parents will use this experience to open a dialogue with their children about sex. "Well, thanks to President Clinton I had that little talk with my son rather sooner than I anticipated.

I recommend "Epidemic: How Teen Sex is Killing our Kids" by Meg Meeker. The behavior is horrendous, and the possible results are even worse, if you can believe it.

It happened in a very white, upper-middle class school district. No one can blame poverty. Our society is truly becoming sick. The teacher who had never seen anything in 30 years should be shocked but not surprised. My favorite teacher from the 1970s quit in disgust because during the late 1980s, he couldn't believe what he was seeing.

"I've been in this business for 30 years and I'm appalled," said John Brackett, the superintendent of the school district. This poor poor man. Sounds as if he thinks he's due an early retirement or something.
Schools talk about it. Radios play songs that are sung about it. Television presents programs where everybody salivates about it. Movies show people doing it. MTV makes sure our children can't think about anything else but it. As if they needed any help in the first place, hormones rage about it.
I think we can safely say these aren't the only fourteen year olds that ever did it. I do hope this superindendent isn't scared for life.
Our society has failed it's youth. I don't say this based on this one incident. We could do a heck of a lot better than we do for our children as a society.

To be fair, all we know is that they are 8th graders.
Given the skill of the public school system, these two lovebirds may very well be 17 or 18 years old.
Doesn't make it right, but makes it a bit less appaling.

The headline, of course, should have said "government middle-school"--but of course every reader knows that already, when it's a story of this kind.

Feh.....When I was in highschool, we had a guidance counselor who took care of the boys in the Holiday Inn Hot-tub each weekend, A vo-tech counselor who had sex with twin sisters in his Chevy-Van in the parking lot, an english teacher who left his wife to have an affair with a 16 year old, and a police juvenile officer who kept a 16 year old in a local apartment for the officers "rest breaks".
The Chevy-Van guy got in trouble, so he became a principle for the school district of Philadelphia as punishment. The cops all went full 20 and retired in fashion, and the hot-tub counselor divorced her hubby and ran off with a german guy who runs a chain of adult book stores.
If you put any bunch of kids over 14 in proximity of each other, or with adults without basing them in morals and reality, you get some shocking results.

...appalled they didn't first get the free condoms which we give out in the office and that nobody mentioned seeing any fisting or other liberated sexual practices. And worst of all I'm shocked and saddened by reports that this was a heterosexual couple! What kind of message of intolerance is this sending to our gay and lesbien students?!?

The Chevy-Van guy got in trouble, so he became a principle [sic] for the school district of Philadelphia as punishment. Is he still a principal? If this incident is established fact, a name is mandatory information.

Planned Parenthood criticizes Bush's position on abstinence education:
Bush twice signed laws that designate funding for abstinence-until-marriage education. (Texas House Bill 1, 97 & 99) Bush has said that, "Washington is spending to encourage teenagers to use contraceptives for safe sex. He said he favored abstinence-only education programs, because teaching abstinence and safe sex at the same time sends a contradictory message." (Washington Post 7/22/99)
On the issue of Abstinence Education, Bushs official campaign website says that he has, "proposed spending at least as much on abstinence education as on teen contraception programs." (georgewbush.com)
ACLU opposition to abstinence education
Groups that seek to undermine comprehensive sexuality education frequently promote alternative sex education curricula such as: Sex Respect; Facing Reality; Me, My World, My Future; Sexuality, Commitment and Family; Choosing the Best; Families, Decision-Making and Human Development; Responsible Sexual Values Program; Safe Sex; and Reasonable Reasons to Wait. Called "abstinence-only" curricula, these programs instill fear and shame to discourage teenagers from engaging in sexual activity. They generally provide little information that can help sexually active teenagers protect themselves from pregnancy or disease. These curricula are laden with scientific and medical inaccuracies, sexist and racist stereotypes, and religious prescriptions for proper behavior and values. 5 Focused on delivering a "single unmistakable message," the abstinence-only curricula censor important information about human sexuality.

thanks to President Clinton Oh Bill, where were you when I was 14?

I know this is despicable, but I just wanted to put this into perspective with respect to today's times.
I grew up in a middle class area (mostly white but not exclusively) and when I was in 8th grade 25 years ago, something similar happened but the teacher never found out. Two kids got under a table which had a skirt around it, and I will say in polite terms that they went to at least "3rd base", on the last day of school while everyone was just kind of hanging around and cutting up. The teacher was not far away but not really paying enough attention. A couple of guys in class found out about it later and we were all pretty amazed (jealous, too, maybe?) at this guy and his girlfriend.
So, yes, things are wild today and it would be nice to blame it on 8 years of Clinton, but this kind of stuff has been going on for a long time.
