Amen. We've got the men now in place. It must be awful for them to have to "hurry up and wait"

Yes I agree with your assessment. Blair has joined the mature grownups now and is thinking of this in a historical perspective and how he will be remembered.

Allies and weasels miling about the table. Should start in a few minutes.

Personally, I think pundits all get scripts. "Today, Bill you will be strong for inspections." "But I don't agree." "Do you want your $500.00, Bill." "Yes." "Then you are for inspectors." "Hi, my name is Bill. Inspections should continue."
Headlines around the world. We can't go to war because Bill believes in inspection.
Another network to Bill. "I'll give you $1,000 to say that inspectors thing over here."
That is how the world of punditry works in my opinion.

This is all about whether the UN is relevant or not -- if they don't back the US and UK, then they have lost their credibility.
The end game is upon us!
Fox analyst said that Blix is going to give us Smoking Gun on those missiles which they have produced.

Per CNN--supposedly Russian FM handed letter from Russia to inspectors refuting many points that Colin Powell gave in his big presentation
Russia doesn't accept Powells analysis of Iraq's WMD
An open meeting next week so everybody gets a chance to "vent"
sheesh

Seminar callers back on CSPAN... Don't watch CSPAN...CSPAN has become just another arm of the DNC..no better than CNN.

On Fox former ambassador Ginsberg says that the newly discovered longer-range missile is a clear material breach of both the previous agreement and also 1441.
To: mewzilla
FOX commentator Marc Ginsburg saying that he thinks Blix is going to bring up the missile issue (the ones found that go outside permitted range). Ginsburg called it a smoking gun proving that iraq is still developing proscribed weaponry.

I agree...

I thought the poll was pretty positive. Only 13% strongly oppose war with Iraq; 51% strongly support and another 20% support somewhat. Not bad when the benchmark for war is 40% going in!
I'll be out all day so I'll miss the big report. Personally, I could give a rip what Blix says and if he asks for more time, I'll blow my top. Time for Bush and Blair to put it to a vote and go it alone!

Analyst on Fox is reporting that Chriac wants to maintain Saddam in power.
France has $50-60 billion in oil contracts about to expire and be renegotiated.
France and Germany want to knock the US down to size in Europe but not working as other European countries not going along with them.

Fox just gave their stupid war poll like it makes one bit of difference. I had MSNBC on for a bit and they have Lester Holt in. They repeated several times a NYTimes/CBS poll about President Bush's job approval at 54% and then numbers about the US going in "alone" or "with allies". I have switched to Fox---and they are just showing the NY Post cover--which I had not heard about or seen until freeper comments on this thread! LOL

So that's what, 18 agreements they've violated? What's another 12 years. They'll be disarmed in 12 more years.
In 12 years, my 7 yo will be old enough to be drafted, that means 12 years ago someone else's kid who is in the military now was only 7, 6 even. Ridiculous!

LOL! You and I posted to each other about the same thing.
Ginsberg also says Chirac does not want Saddam out of power because of petroleum contracts and because Chirac wants France to be the go-between between the Arabs world and the United States.
If Chirac thinks that, he is truly nuts.
